Felix Charnley recently shared the results of his year long research on the impact of global warming and extreme heat events on corals across most of the north coast, not only in the WRFS. More than 90% of Jamaica’s corals suffered during the global coral bleaching event of October 2023. During the year he was also a guest on the Smile Jamaica a.m. T.V. and CVM show sharing the results of his work. His report will soon be available as an on-line webinar.
