We can make a
difference Together

White River Fish Sanctuary is committed to the responsibility we have to care for marine life. The more our community grows, the greater difference we can make. Whether that be through reef restoration, public education or holding those who harm the environment accountable – we are dedicated to change.

Who Are We

Protect. Restore. engage.

What started as a collaboration between hoteliers, activists, and local fishermen has transformed into a community of passionate individuals dedicated to preserving our aquatic environment.  We came together with a common goal: to bring back the once-abundant marine life in the area.

The White River Fishermen’s Association (WRFA) and the White River Marine Association (WRMA) were then formed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). They joined forces to create  The White River Fish Sanctuary which now provides a safe haven for fish to produce millions of offspring.
