Jonathan Hernould is new WRFS Manager

The WRFS team welcomes our Jonathan Hernould as sanctuary manager as of November 1st, 2024. Jonathan Hernould was born in Jamaica and brought up around the sea, which sparked his interest in marine life and conservation. This led to his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Iona College and his return to Jamaica thereafter. Since then he has been working in the Environmental field in Jamaica and the Caribbean for over Ten years. Conceptualizing, managing and working on projects such as Marine Sanctuaries, Sea Turtle Conservation, Solid Waste Management and Coastal Ecosystem Restoration. Specialized and highly skilled in Coral Restoration he has been motivated to use the skills he has learned from working in the field for almost 10 years.
